Our volunteers bring compassion, joy, and steady support to every part of Horizon. We’re grateful for each person who helps us walk alongside women and families through the journey of an unplanned pregnancy. As our center continues to grow, we have opportunities in every area of service.

At Horizon, volunteers don’t just serve—they build relationships that make a lasting impact. Volunteers walk alongside our clients every step of the way. Whether it’s a listening ear, practical help, or ongoing encouragement, each role plays a vital part in the journey.
7 Volunteer Shifts
Many of our volunteers serve once a week—usually a morning or afternoon shift—but we also have monthly opportunities and flexible roles. If you’re in a busy season, let us know and we'll be happy to find a role that fits your current rhythm.

VOLUNTEER NEEDS
Admin Support
Love working behind the scenes? Help us stay organized by assembling mail outs, preparing client handouts and marketing flyers, and keeping our center tidy. A small task for you, a huge help to us!
Men’s Mentor
Men need mentors too. Walk alongside dads and fathers-to-be in a meaningful role. Encourage, challenge, and support men in their journey toward strong, purposeful fatherhood. No experience needed—just a willing heart.
Campaign Helper – Baby Bottle Drive
Help bring our annual Baby Bottle Campaign to life! You’ll support coordination efforts that spark generosity across our community.
Life Skills Teacher
Teach what you know and change a life. Share your knowledge in a class that strengthens families and builds confidence—budgeting, car care, parenting, and more. Create your curriculum (approved by our Director) or use ours.
Client Care Volunteer
Be the steady voice of encouragement for moms (or couples) on their parenting journey. Walk one-on-one with clients through conversations and boutique visits. You’ll guide them as they review individualized video lessons and engage with them through questions and answers in BrightCourse (materials provided).
Faith Mentor
Walk with new believers as they grow in faith. You don’t need all the answers—just a heart willing to walk beside someone learning to follow Jesus with confidence.
“Baby Shower” Host
Gather your group, church, or friends and host a donation drive (or gift card drive). Celebrate new life by collecting gifts (or gift cards) for parents in need—every bottle, blanket, and onesie blesses the families we serve every week.
Boutique Assistant
Love organizing and serving behind the scenes? Make shopping a joy for our clients by donations and restock shelves in our beautiful baby boutique. Help us prepare our boutique so families feel seen and supported.
Event & Fundraising Volunteer
Use your skills to help make our events unforgettable and our mission sustainable. From planning events that inspire, uplift, and fund life-saving work to behind-the-scenes strategy, you can make a difference.
Ultrasound Chaperone
Sometimes just being there is the most powerful gift. Join women in the ultrasound room and offer listening ears and warm reassurance. Be a calming, compassionate presence during one of the most emotional moments in a woman’s pregnancy journey.
Client Advocate
Sometimes just being there is the most powerful gift.
Be the first voice of hope – providing calm in the chaos. Meet one-on-one with women to guide them through their pregnancy consultation, share about our services, and offer support without judgment. This is a great role for retired RNs or certified lactation consultants looking to use their experience in a supportive, non-clinical setting.
