FAQ

No. All of Horizon’s services are provided at no cost to our clients. This is made possible through the generosity of our donors and community partners.

Horizon provides limited medical care during the early stages of pregnancy, and then refers women to trusted physicians for ongoing prenatal care. Our educational programs, counseling, and material assistance are available throughout the pregnancy and continue until a child’s third birthday. We also connect clients with community resources to ensure support long after they’ve left our care.

While our heart is to see every client choose life, we recognize that not every woman will make that choice. Our role is to provide medically accurate, evidence-based information about abortion and the alternatives to abortion. We walk alongside her—never pressuring—equipping her with the facts and support needed to make an informed and empowered, life-affirming choice for her and her unborn baby.

Yes. Many women return to us after an abortion seeking emotional healing. We meet them with compassion, not condemnation. Horizon offers a safe place to grieve, process, and begin healing. We provide professional counseling, offer post-abortion support, and share the hope and forgiveness available in Jesus Christ.

Faith is at the heart of who we are, so spiritual conversations are always offered—but we never push them. All care at Horizon is permission-based and client-led. If a client expresses interest in talking about spiritual matters, we’re honored to have that conversation, pray with her, or invite her to take part in faith-based programs. However, participation in any spiritual conversation or class is never required to receive our services. Every client is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect—no matter where they are in their faith journey.
